Results of the monitoring of the atmospheric aerosol over an urban environment in a non-industrialised medium size city in South-eastern Spain (37.18 deg N,3.58 deg W,680 m a.m.s.l) are presented using continuous spectral measurements of solar transmission and sky radiance in the range 340-1020 nm.From these measurements the aerosols optical depths at the corresponding wavelength were derived together with columnar precipitable water.Columnar size distributions were retrieved by inversion of the combination of the sky radiance and solar extinction measurements.Daily as seasonal variations were analysed.
