Measurements of hygroscopic properties (growth factor and water-souble volume fraction) of Aerosol particles have been performed in four field campaigns (NORDEX 96, LACE 98, MACE 99 and CLACE 2000) at different locations to collect hydroscopicity information on different aerosol types (marine: at Helgloand, Germany; semi-rural: at Lindenberg/Falkenberg, Germany; semi-urban: at Munich, Germany; free trospheric: at Jungfraujoch, Switzerland). MACE 99 has been split into four single campaigns to investigate seasonal variations.
