Gynecology for the Primary Care Physician

Over the last generation, the primary care of women has extensively expanded to include a wide array of gynecological evaluations and services directed at outpatient assessment, prevention, and treatment, with increased medical and surgical options. This, in turn, has led to an increased demand on the skills and knowledge of primary clinicians. A readable, accessible, and practical gynecology text directed toward the concerns of the primary care approach had long been wanting, and this need was met initially in 1999 at the time of the printing of this texts' first edition. Further progress has been made with the publication of the second edition of this useful book.
