NEW GUIDELINES FOR PED1ATRIC sedation are calling for practitioners to have greater levels of skill and to be prepared to provide emergency care if a child has an adverse reaction.The guidelines were issued j ointly by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Pediat-ric Dentistry in December after more than 3 years of development.
