Microstructure-Property Relationships in O-Temper Foil Alloys

In this article, the effect of various microstructural features on the tensile properties of foil alloys was established by rising laboratory processing to engineer a range of model microstructures. By separating grain size solid-solution effects from the overall measured strength, the strengthening available from second-phase particles was shown.
