Fuzzy multimodel control applied on variable speed continuous Petri nets

In this paper fuzzy logic theory is used for the control of a particular class of manufacturing systems modeled by variable speed continuous Petri nets (VSCPN). We control the marking of the VSCPN by acting on its transitions. In particular we realize a fuzzy multi-modeling of each transition of the VSCPN. These transitions are supposed to produce only one product. Each fuzzy rule (local model) is linear The main advantage of the proposed method is that we provide after defuzzification the exact modeling of variable speed continuous Petri nets. Using this fuzzy multi-model, we develop a fuzzy control applied on VSCPN and give efficient results as convergence and stability for the global system. Then, a proportional control law is elaborated and an example of a serial line is worked out.
