Nippon Steel & Sumikin Stainless Steel reduces the prices for distributors of stainless steel sheet for October contract by 10,000 yen per tonne. Since launch of the company, the price reduction is the first time. The fall of the nickel price in August-September was reflected in the selling price. Cold-rolled stainless steel sheet of 300 series is 300,000 yen per tonne. Since supply and demand of the plate is extremely tight, the price is assumed leaving unchanged.
