摘要

Asia-Pacific trading patterns are in flux, with China’s rapid growth in jet exports expected to slow this year while Australia will continue to draw in jet volumes as its supply deficit levels off. A slowdown in Chinese export gains could provide a reprieve for Northeast and Southeast Asian market players still reeling from the onslaught of new refineries in the Mideast and India. China’s actual jet exports are expected to rise to 160,000-170,000 barrels per day this year, up by 10,000-20,000 b/d from an estimated 150,000 b/d in 2015, according to Wendy Yong of consultancy FGE. Those levels are lower than the estimated jump of 30,000 b/d in 2015 - a spike of 25% from 2014 (p4). Export growth is easing as some Chinese refiners get closer to the limits of how much jet fuel they can produce, Yong notes.
