MEC to Construct New Electronic Chemicals Plant in China

MEC (Hong Kong) Co. (MEC H.K.), a subsidiary of MEC Co. (Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture), a major player in the market for chemicals used for electronic circuit boards, has applied to establish a subsidiary in Guang-dong Province, China. It will start conswtruction work as soon as government approval is received, and plans to start operation at the end of August this year. The new plant will be positioned as a product supply base for the southern China region.
