Thienemannimyia toyamazea SASA, 1996 is transferred to the genus Rheopelopia. The male and female adults are redescribed, while the pupa and larva are described for the first time. In addition, the adult males and females, pupae and larvae of Lobomyia immaculata gen. nov. , sp. nov. and Amnihayesomyia ikawensis gen. nov. , sp. nov. are described and illustrated.
