When is GRIP Your Right Choice for Crop Insurance?

Our thanks this week to Bruce Babcock and Chad Hart of Iowa State University for their very helpful explanation of Group Risk Income Protection (GRIP) in the latest Iowa Ag Review, a quarterly publication by Iowa State's Center for Agricultural and Rural Development. While you may be quite familiar with Revenue Assurance (RA) and Crop Revenue Coverage (CRC), GRIP is a newer concept and has some important differences you need to be aware of in your crop insurance decision making.
