On the Mechanism of the Breakdown of Complete Chaotic Synchronization

With the example of coupled Rossler systems, we consider the mechanism responsible for the breakdown of the complete chaotic synchronization of two coupled chaotic dynamical systems when varying the coupling parameter. A new method of introducing the phase of a chaotic signal is proposed on the basis of the continuous wavelet transform.
