摘要

One of the problems that are studied in geology of planets is to determine the size of a crater on a target planet by the known geometrical and mechanical parameters of the impactor, namely, the size, velocity, and the impingement angle. However, such estimates are often unreliable because of the lack of experimental data on the size of impact craters, which may exceed several tens of meters. In such cases, it is reasonable to extrapolate experimental data to large-scale processes using various scaling laws.
