The ASCO, i.e., the American Congress for Clinical Oncology, takes place annually in June in Chicago and is considered to be the most important and largest conference platform worldwide. Each year between 35 000 and 40 000 visitors are counted. All innovations, all study results are in the first line presented internationally for the first time at the ASCO, this is also valid for non-original oncological studies as well as for flanking specialist areas such as, e.g., radiotherapy.
