Boundary issues in medical ethics - An establishment

This essay (based on a 2012 lecture at the Ethikforum der AK WL) roughly examines topics and foundational resources in medical ethics as well as the role physicians could and should play in these debates. These deliberations get exemplified by three hot topics in the field of biomedical ethics, namely priority setting, patient communication, and physician assisted suicide.
