STILL SEALING THE DEAL: Neal Mfg. announces latest round of upgrades to DA-350 sealcoater

Neal Mfg., a maker of asphalt sealcoating equipment, has upgraded its DA-350 dual applicator sealcoating machine to enhance productivity and ease of use, the company said. Originally introduced to the market in 1980, the three-wheeled, self-propelled machine has a 350 gal. sealcoat tank and allows contractors to apply sealcoat with both squeegee and spray systems. "We knew there were upgrades needed to the product," said Maury Bagwell, general manager for Neal Mfg., a division of Blastcrete Equipment Co. headquartered in Anniston, Ala. "We went to one of our customers that puts down about a million gallons of sealer a year and has about 30 or 40 of these machines. They had been making some modifications to the machines to make them work better for their jobs. We saw the modifications they made, and when we came back, we decided to make similar modifications to the machine, since they had been so successful for that customer."
