Manitou Lifts Focus On Construction With New Telescopic Handlers

Building on its range of telescopic handlers, Manitou North America, the wholly owned subsidiary of French manufacturer Manitou B.F., has introduced three new models to its MT series. Serving the North American market, the new MT 6034, MT 6642 and MT 8044 feature a 34, 42 and 44 ft. lift height and are designed for the U.S. market, specifically targeting construction applications. "Before, all our telescopies were a European influence," said Ryan Ford, construction telescopic handler specialist for Manitou. "That is, they have the low boom, side-mounted engine and are a more ergonomic style machine."
