NEW ENGINE FAMILY FROM IVECO MOTORS

After their initial preview at Intermat and EIMA 2006, Fiat Powertrain Technologies (FPT) has officially introduced Iveco Motors' new family of light engines, denominated F5. The new FPT engines feature four cylinders with two valves per cylinder driven by a geared front timing system and fitted with a conventional mechanical injection system for the low and medium power range, and an electronic common rail system for higher performance versions.
