Shandong Zouping Aluminum to put new potline into production

Shandong Zouping Aluminum Co., Ltd(Zouping city of Shandong province) expects to complete construction of a potline with capacity of 75,000tpy and bring the potline on stream at the end of 2006, source from the company said. The company adopts 300kA pre-baked technology for the potline. Construction of the potline had been delayed for two years due to lack of funds as well as high alumina price. But alumina price has largely decline this year, which encourage the company to accelerate construction of the potline and put it into production.
