Large dismantling & recycling base to be built in Tianjin

Construction of a large-sized dismantling & recycling base for waste electric & electronic products has been in plan at the Tianjin Ziya Environmental Protection Industry Zone during 2006-2010, source close to the situation said. The project will cost 1.028 billion yuan and cover 4 square kilometer of lands. The project is expected to be launched in the near term and completed by 2010. The project will have capacity of dismantling 15 million units of waste electric & electronic products each vear.
