Investment Flows into Texas Gas-conversion Projects

In recent weeks, a number of proposed investments have moved forward for gas-conversion projects in Texas. Like its neighbor to the east, Louisiana, Texas, with ready access to the Gulf Coast, continues to emerge as a hotspot for projects to convert gas into premium products, such as direct-reduced iron (DRI), methanol, specialty chemicals and fertilizer.
