CPC Demonstrates 'Drop-in' Fueling System to US Military

A new system developed by Community Power Corporation (CPC) produces drop-in diesel and aviation fuels from wood chips and other waste biomass feedstocks. The company's Liquimax system is a proprietary Fischer-Tropsch (FT) reactor that produces FT fuels from nitrogen-diluted syngas. The Liquimax system is designed to be housed in 20' shipping containers. "What separates our gas-to-liquid system from others is the inexpensive, proprietary catalysts used to enhance the process and also allow us to process a wide range of feedstock in liquid fuels," said CPC project manager Steve Sherwood.
