Coskata Inc. has issued a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Fagen Inc. for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the construction of a commercial cellulosic ethanpl facility in Boligee, Ala., Green Car Congress reported June 23. The facility will be designed around the Coskata technology. Coskata's technology combines gasification with biological conversion of the syngas into fuels and chemicals using anaerobic microorganisms and innovative bioreactor designs.
