Trelleborg Awarded Three Curtis Island Contracts for Undisclosed Sum

Trelleborg will not only supply docking and mooring equipment and monitoring software to the US$20 billion Queensland Curtis LNG project, part of the larger overall coal-seam development project being undertaken by BG's wholly-owned QGC unit, but has also won contracts with both Gladstone LNG and Australia Pacific LNG. The combined QGC/Queensland Curtis LNG project is touted as the world's first project to convert coal-seam gas into LNG for export. In order to expand coalbed methane production from the Surat Basin of Southern Queensland, QGC will build out a 540-km network of buried natural gas pipelines.
