Ivory Coast close to import deal with Qatar

Ivory Coast is reportedly nearing a deal to supply its proposed floating regasification and storage unit (FSRU) with imported gas from Qatar for a decade after it is completed, according to a Reuters report. The project, which was announced in March and is expected to be completed by the end of 2015, is estimated to need 37 billion cubic feet per year. The planning of the (FSRU) is being overseen by Ivorian state oil company Petroci.
