Sakhalin governor asks for Putin's support for LNG projects

Sakhalin Governor Alexander Khoroshavin has asked President Putin to support LNG projects in Sakhalin, Russia & India Report reported. Khoroshavin wants Putin's support particularly for the construction of the third LNG train at the Sakhalin 2 LNG project. The train will have a capacity of up to 5 million tonnes a year. The project would enable Russia to occupy a very serious niche in the Asian Pacific Region, the governor stressed.
