The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announced that its analysis of U.S. natural gas exports is being postponed another several months, the Department said Sept. 17. The delay is postponing approval for several U.S. LNG liquefaction and export plants along the Gulf Coast and East Coast, including existing terminals that wish to offer bidirectional trade at Freeport, Texas, Sabine Pass, Texas (Golden Pass), Cameron and Lake Charles, La. Pascagou-|a, Miss., Elba Island, Ga., and Cove Point, Md.
