Hamworthy Regas Technology Selected in Malaysia

Hamworthy announced on March 21 that it has been awarded a contract to supply re-gas technology to Petronas' new Malaysia LNG regas terminal in a deal worth in excess of US$30 million. Petronas is building the 3.8 million tonnes per annum offshore facility in Mukim Sungai Udang, Melaka. It is designed to import and store LNG in a floating storage unit, but vaporize LNG in regasification equipment on the jetty.
