Dominion: US could act on LNG exports within weeks

Dominion Resources believes that the Obama administration may be within weeks from announcing decisions on whether some of more than a dozen companies with applications will be allowed to export U.S. natural gas, Reuters reported. Thomas Farrell, the head of Dominion Resources, is confident that the Energy Department will soon move forward on export applications for LNG. The company's Cove Point project is the third project in line for review by the department, which is believed to rule on applications in the order in which they were received.
