Editor's Letter: The World Is Gasifying

In this issue, we see how investment is pouring into LNG. Export, import and downstream projects are advancing on all fronts at remarkable speeds, supporting the argument that natural gas has truly become this century's fuel. On the export front, projects are advancing on four continents: Africa, Asia, North America and Australia. Germany is now proposing greater involvement in Nigeria to find LNG supplies as German consumers seek non-nuclear alternatives. In East Africa, advancements continue with at least two major export projects in Mozambique and Tanzania.
