Eni announced on July 28 that it has made a new discovery offshore Ghana through the Gye Nyame 1 well, which is located in the OCTP block 50 km off the Ghanaian shoreline. Eni intends to link hydrocarbons from another well, the Sankofa, to pursue an LNG export project.
