摘要

In this paper, a predictive model for hemodialysis/hemodiafiltration is used to design for the treatment of uremic patients membrane modules more effecient than commercial hemodialysers. Fractionation of the avaliable membrane area into modules alternatively operated in internal and back filtration mode successfully enhanced HMW solute clearance as copared to classical dialysis.
