Because of the thin, elastic, mobile tissue of the periorbital area, reconstruction of periorbital defects has always been a challenge for dermatologic and plastic surgeons. From the numerous methods that have been reported for achieving functional and aesthetic results, the appropriate method should be selected according to the size and location of the defect.
