Milk prices: Booths pledges to top the table

Family retailer Booths, which operates 29 stores in the North West, has pledged to maintain its far-mgate milk price above the other major retailers in our table, including big guns Waitrose and M&S.Replacing all the retailer's own label fresh milk with its 'Fair Milk' brand, this bold move started on Dec'13 at the current level of 35.5ppl for our standard litre (*), casting a shadow over the league table as a whole.
