Well, the cows finally started grazing on February 27, but they are limited to six hours per day, due to our quota situation and the grass was very slow to start growing. We are now six weeks behind our average turnout date. We have managed to get a 6% quota extension (12,500 litres) after much haggling with the dairy, France at the end of February is running 1% over quota, but with a very cold start to March and many farms very short of forage, the country should be bang on target.
