Requirements for welding consumable mechanical properties for welding structure

摘要

The determination of required toughness of steels and welded joints in dependence on yield strength was studied. The problem of welding consumables for joining mild steels, strength grade S235 and S275 was outlined. The ductile properties of materials were evaluated by impact bend test. The criterion value of lateral expansion LE for differently strong and tough steels was studied.
