Surfacing of steel rails with coated electrodes and tubular cored wire

摘要

Wear of track rails of material handling trucks in brick factories and the proposal of renovation methods by arc surfacing with coated electrodes and tubular cored wire were outlined. The fabrication and evaluation of test weld overlays visually, metallographically and by hardness measurement as well as with respect to labouriousness were described. The employed surfacing methods were compared and a more suitable method - surfacing with tubular cored wires was selected.
