Midnight Raises $9.6 Million

Midnight Oil Exploration Ltd. has closed its previously announced offering of eight million common shares at an issue price of 77 cents per common share and 3.71 million common shares issued on a "flow-through" basis at an issue price of 94 cents per flow-through share including 210,000 flow-through shares purchased by management of the company, for aggregate gross proceeds of approximately $9.6 million.
