Review Of Oilsands Air Quality Recommended

A Fort McMurray-based group that studies the cumulative environmental effects on development in the Athabasca oilsands region has recommended a framework for managing air contaminants in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB).The trace metals and air contaminants (TMAC) working group of the Cumulative Environmental Management Association (CEMA) recommends an air contaminants management framework be implemented immediately and that it be reviewed approximately every five years following initial implementation.
