Earnings Up, But Low Commodity Prices Take Toll On ARC'S Cash Flow

ARC Energy Trust's earnings were up and second quarter production was essentially flat compared to the same period in 2008, however both cash flow and revenue were sliced more than half as low commodity prices took their toll,Cash flow was $120.5 million, a major decline from the $257.5 million achieved in the comparable quarter in 2008. ARC said this decline was as a result of a 54% decline in commodity prices. Year to date cash flow was $237.1 million versus $484.9 million during the first six months of last year.
