摘要

The waste problem is now a vital matter from the aspect of environmental pollutants and effective utilization of natural resources. Vacuum Aided Recycling Systems Technology (VARS Tech) is a new recycling technology and is based on the concept of the Ecofactory as a next generation manufacturing systems. In the present investigation, a fundamental study on the dezincing process of Zn and Zn alloy-coated steel sheets scrap by vacuum evaporation and development of a practical plant have been carried out. As a result, the VARS technology is confirmed as a high efficiency, high energy-saving technology which is usable for high quality material recycling with no ecological burden.
