Potential distribution and space-charge neutralization in technological intense electron beams - an overview

In this paper we review our approach and the physical models developed over the years for investigation of the spacecharge compensation in intense technological electron beams and its influence on the beam propagation. We discuss a detailed classification of the electron beams under the presence of space-charge neutralization. Results of numerical experiments, illustrating different aspects of the developed models and computer codes, are presented and discussed.
