摘要

A standard laboratory method was applied to assess the effect of dry insecticide residue on the parasitoid Aphytis lingnanensis Compete (a parasitoid of California red scale Aonidiella aurantii Mask.). Two insecticides (methomyl and methidathion) currently recommended for scale pest management in Queensland citrus orchards were tested. Methomyl, at .005 % ai/l, was less toxic than at .05 % ai/l and less toxic than methidathion al either .005 % ai/l or .05 % ai/l.
