摘要

In this paper distributed vibration control of structures using single-piece and multi-piece segmented actuators is examined. The study is motivated by finding an active control strategy to reduce vibrations in circular saw blades. The actuators are used to excite steady-state harmonic vibrations in the plate. Mathematical models of an annular plate with a single- and multi-piece annular actuator are formulated and performances are stimulated. Simulations prove that the sector actuators are effective in exciting general vibration modes. [References: 3]
