Dow's Taloja Manufacturing Site Award- ed at National Energy Conservation Awards 2009

Mumbai: The Rohm and Haas India manufacturing plant in Taloja, an integral part of Dow Advanced Materials Division, was awarded first prize in the chemical sector at the National Energy Conservation Awards 2009, recently held in Delhi. The annual affair is organised by the Ministry of Power, Government of India, and assessed by the Director of the Central Electricity Authority, a unit of the Ministry of Power. The awards recognise outstanding achievements made by organisations to reduce energy consumption through innovative processes and efficient equipment. Mr. Sushil Kumar Shinde, Hon. Union Minister of Power. Government of India presented the award to Anil Gupta, Plant Manager, Taloja.
