Cardinal pumps are said to be the industry's only pumps that are specifically designed to meet the demanding requirements of transformer oil applications.They are rated for continuous-duty operating temperature ranges from-40°C(-400°F)to 100°C(212°F).Permitting thermo-siphon flow when not operating allows natural convection even when the pump is completely shut off.Heavy-duty class 30 cast-iron is used for the pump casting,motor enclosures,impellers and volutes.
