Criterion has developed improved catalyst systems to aid refiners in producing ultra-low-sulfur diesel (ULSD).CENTINEL GOLD is a Type II CoMoS and NiMoS active site catalyst.This catalyst system is claimed to offer high active-metal loading while further improving the MoS_2 dispersion.The combination of higher metals loading and greater accessibility increases the number of active sites per unit volume.This feature enables the product to eliminate most refractory sulfur compounds.
