UOP to offer Albemarle Nebula catalyst for ultra-low-sulfur diesel

UOP LLC, a Honeywell company, will offer the Albemarle Nebula hydrotreating catalyst for the production of high-quality, ultra-low-sulfur diesel (ULSD) as part of the Hydroprocessing Alliance, UOP's strategic alliance with Albemarle Corp. Nebula catalyst is an innovative material jointly discovered by ExxonMobil Research and Engineering Co and co-developed with Albemarle that offers greater catalyst activity and can enhance diesel yield and quality. The Hydroprocessing Alliance will now offer the catalyst for reloads and revamps of hydroprocessing units.
