Russian refiners use oxygenates to preserve octane

摘要

A case study was conducted regarding the physical and chemical properties of key gasoline oxygenates, such as methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE), tertiary amy] methyl ether (TAME) and other blending components. This study focused on preserving octane value for Class 4 and Class 5 transportation fuels and the effects on saturated vapor pressure (SVP). The results will be used in the reconfiguration of gasoline productions.
