A Hundred Tears On THE JAPAN-BRITISH EXHIBITION, 1910

One hundred years ago, on the second Sunday in September, several hundred thousand people queued up to enter White City in west London and see the Japan-British Exhibition. It had opened on 14 May 1910 and by September Japan mania was at its height as excited crowds, clutching their one-shilling coloured programmes, poured tbroucrh the Uxhridp-e Road and Wood Lane entrances.
